Hotkeys To Change Windows Virtual Desktops Not Working Anymore

This fixes the bug that the shortcut to switch between virtual desktops in Windows does not work anymore.

Problem

Ctrl + Win + <-/-> does not change between virtual desktops anymore.

Solution 1

  1. Open task manager
  2. Search for explorer.exe
  3. Right click and choose restart
  4. Everything shall work again

Solution 2

  1. Open PowerToys (if installed)
  2. Disable FancyZones
  3. Everything shall work again -> similar bug already in Github
